Matara Central College ඔබේ පාසලද ?

Principal's Messege	Matara Central College is one of the reputed leading mixed school in Matara city. It is located in Matara district, southern part of Sri Lanka. This school was commenced on 1951 and in 1993, it was populated as central college and now it is established as a National School under category of the Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka. At present, around 3000 students are learning from grade one to twelve. The school is fully completed in all the educational facilities like Science laboratories for the students in grade 9 & 11 and for theAdvanced level students. Also Aesthetic, special education, commerce, Art, Home science, Agriculture and primary education sections are being providing grate role for the school development. The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) center and Media unit of the school have being givinga great support to up lift the students’ IT knowledge well. At present, 138 teachers are providing their service for the children and most of the teachers engage with extra curricular activities like sports, arranging abating teams, handling school perfect board.
